Biography
For The Angels Are Dead was written over the course of one year while Andy Bilger and his wife traveled through Mexico.
The colorful weave of culture and environment create the dynamic fabric of south Texas and Mexico. These influences are an important inspiration to Mr. Bilger, both creatively and spiritually.
Rough in texture, wild in nature, boundless as the sky, yet subtly refined by 500 years of constant cultural interactions and influences, this independent borderland fired and forged Texas independent writer Andy Bilger.
Though his travels have taken him north and south and east and west, he calls south Texas home.
Like most folks in Texas, he enjoys a cold beer, BBQ, punk rock, surfing, skateboarding and watching the sunset over the south Texas scrub. Andy Bilger has a wife, three kids, and two dogs. He enjoys writing and has a new novel underway.
Vaya con Dios.
